This was no ordinary wedding band either… we looked through hundreds of designs before we discovered this "perfect" treasure. And, it was lost on our one month anniversary no less!
While contemplating the enormity of the situation, I was reminded of this Bible verse:
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:...
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Matthew 7:7,11, KJV

I was also reminded of this amazing story of how an ant was used to find a contact lens:
When my husband asked me if I could order another one, I, of course, immediately said yes.
After a pause I told him that the Lord knows exactly where his ring was at and it would not be unthinkable for the Lord to have the ring returned the next day.
I should have taken a moment to pray with him too, but I just let him contemplate that thought. Although we did not pray together at that moment, we both prayed earnestly throughout the restless night.
This morning, my husband visited the most likely outdoor job site that he had been at and his ring was laying right there waiting for him. Praise the Lord! He really does care about our "little" things!
