New Beginnings

March 21, 2017

I’m having a hard time fathoming that Spring is here already!

I spent several weeks at the beginning of this year reviewing 2016 and considering the future.

Review of 2016

At the beginning of last year, I was ready to start taking control of my life again after two devastating events had destroyed the latter half of 2015 for me. First, a dear friend died. Then, my oldest daughter fell down the stairs resulting in amnesia (I am happy to report that she has fully recovered *smile*).

As I said, I was ready to get back to work last January…

I had setup an action plan to increase my Facebook fans. This worked great – I was getting 3-5 likes a day!

I was also set to start creating infographics and video presentations for my website. I got a couple done, but then… I fizzled and succumbed to anxiety and depression. Again.

My life completely flipped upside down when May found my youngest, 2 cats, 2 horses, and I moving from Oregon to Minnesota to live and ending 20+ years of marriage.

Shortly after moving, I met a wonderful man. Over the next few months, our lives took several twists and turns – including two more moves! Three moves in six months tends to be rather time consuming, as well as stressful!

Dwell With Gratitude

Dwell With Gratitude

Don’t dwell on what you lack; dwell on what you have and use it to the fullest with gratitude.

Don’t dwell on your failures - learn from them and move on.

Don’t dwell on your fears and sorrows - dwell on your hopes.

Hello 2017!

We are nicely settled now and I am ready to put my New Year’s resolutions in motion! (Who says resolutions need to start on the first of January?! *laughs*)

I whole-heartedly believe that sharing my love for God and His gift of therapeutic grade essential oils with all who will listen is my calling. As such, my long-term goal for the year is to put into action the many sharing ideas I’ve had over the years.

My action plans have been updated and I am ready to go – the only thing holding me back is floundering confidence in myself. I praise the Lord for encouragement I’ve received from family and friends… as well as business associates!

I’ve had many fails and more false starts than I can count already this year. But, I fully believe that God has led me in this direction and He is more than able to turn failures into success stories!
